Shaksa

Shaksa is a Ukrainian smooth jazz singer and tv presenter. She has been working with the recording studio ASTOPILOT records since she was 12 years old, collaborating with Anna Tikhoplav as a composer, arranger, pianist and teacher.

Shaxa started her career in 19 years being a tv presenter in Ukraine. Afterwards she decided to get a music education at Berklee College of Music, the best music school in the world. She worked with great professors like professor Maggie Scott (Juilliard), Broadway star Rebecca Perricone, jazz star Donna McElroy. Later she was discovered by one of the biggest American producers Narada Michael Walden,who produced Regina Bell, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Diana Ross and Al Jarreau. Shaxa likes music of Randy Crawford, Phyllis Hyman, Sade, Jeff Lobber, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan. Also, Shaxa has been studying acting technic and stage technic with a Hollywood actress Blanche Baker.
